You’ll start the night at Taiyo Ramen, a contemporary Japanese noodle bar nestled on the ground floor of the Courtyard Decatur Downtown Hotel. Taiyo feels like a hidden gem, once you walk past the gorgeous open patio and into the lively, minimalistic decor inside.
Next you’ll be hopping on over to Cafe Alsace, a casual french bistro stretched along the sidewalk of Ponce De Leon Ave. The flavors and dishes really stand out, considering the heavy German influence on Alsatian food.
Your third stop will be Cakes & Ale, who’s fresh bites and imaginative cocktails are incomparable in a down-to-earth atmosphere.
Last but not least, you’ll be popping by Splash of Olive, an artisanal olive oil and vinegar tasting room. With walls full of different infused oils and vinegars, you’ll learn more than you can imagine about the process and how much of a difference oils and vinegars “from tree to bottle” taste.
